Working Principle                                                                          
         The ZGLJ-B5 lightning monitor integrates the lightning current sensor, the data processing unit and the communication unit. It uses a permanent strong magnet to stick the monitor on the surface of the wind turbine tower.
         The surge current generated by the wind turbine when it is struck by lightning is discharged to the grounding system through the tower barrel. When the lightning surge current passes through the tower barrel of the wind turbine equipped with a lightning monitor, the sensor will send the induced lightning current signal Into the data processing unit. The data processing unit will collect, calculate and record the lightning current waveform, analyze and obtain the key lightning waveform parameters and store them in the internal memory. The user can read the monitoring information through the local WEB interface, or read the monitoring data through the Modbus TCP/FTP/IEC 60870-5-104 protocol.
         The monitor adopts an Ethernet interface to realize data reading, transmission and POE power supply.
