ZGQ-16M Lightning Counter
General
ZGQ-16M lightning counter is used to record the number and the time of lightning strikes. When lightning enters the ground, the strong lightning current causes the induction between the counter and the bleeder cable to make the counter generate counting pulses. After processing by the internal circuit of the counter, it pushes the counter digital disc to rotate and record the number of lightning. The product records lightning currents with amplitudes ranging from 1kA to 100kA.

Working Principle
The sensor is installed at the bottom of the counter box, and the counter box is attached to the down-conductor system. When the lightning current comes once, the sensor collects the lightning current signal, converts it into a voltage signal, and drives the electromagnetic counter to take counting. Then the counter records the lightning current one time.

Functional Characteristics
Number and time records of lightning strike
Real-time record of the number and the time of lightning strikes, and can view the historical number and time of lightning strikes. The total of 9999999 times can be recorded, and the count will continue from 1 after 9999999 times.
High-precision sensing technology
Using non-contact high-precision transient current sensor, the signal response frequency has wide bandwidth, can effectively sense lightning signals.
No power-consumption design
With no power-consumption design, this mechanical electromagnetic counter is not restricted by the power supply situation.
