General
ZGZNSD20-F Intelligent SPD is a high-performance, high-intelligence surge protection product independently developed and produced by ZG, which can meet the requirements of high automation and remote monitoring. The product integrates the SPD, monitoring module, and lightning current and leakage current sensors with itself. The operating status and parameters of the SPD can be transmitted to the monitoring terminal through the device bus and the network in real time, so that the staff can understand the running status and parameters of the SPD in real time, and timely repair the faults to ensure the safe and smooth operation of the system.

Overall Dimensions
The ZGZNSD20-F intelligent SPD has dimensions of 108 mm × 104 mm × 66.5 mm (L × W × H).
Working Principle
When a surge occurs, the inrush current flows into the device through the phase line. The lightning current sensor on the device collects the inrush current signal, performs signal conditioning, analog-to-digital conversion, and algorithm processing to obtain the number of SPD actions, the surge current amplitude, and the SPD action time, and then send alarms.
At the same time, the device monitors the remote signaling alarm signal of the SPD and monitors the leakage current of the MOV operation. The processor encodes all the data information and finally summarizes and uploads it to the monitoring center through the RS485 bus.
The system monitoring software displays the working state of the SPD in real time, and obtains the deterioration state of the SPD according to the monitored surge current parameters and leakage current of the MOV working.
Functional Characteristics
Real-time monitoring of SPD working status: Real-time acquisition of parameters of surge currents flowing through the SPD (peak, polarity, frequency, and time), working leakage current parameters, and SPD disconnector status through the high-performance sensor to achieve measurement and recording of SPD working status for timely alarm.
SPD performance degradation warning: Through the analysis of surge current parameters and monitored data of leakage current, when the warning threshold is reached, the SPD performance degradation warning is performed to realize the prophetic awareness of SPD degradation, and the module with hidden danger can be replaced in advance to avoid accidents.
Remote communication: Configure RS485 interface, execute Modbus protocol, and expand different communication interfaces according to actual transmission requirements, to realize remote communication and management of equipment.
Modular design: The surge protection unit and the monitoring unit are modular in design, which is convenient for installation and maintenance.
High reliability design: The circuit of the surge protection unit is independent of that of the monitoring unit. The failure of the monitoring unit will not affect the surge protection performance, thus ensuring the effectiveness of lightning protection. At the same time, the anti-interference design is adopted, and the immunity of the monitoring unit meets the requirements of GB/T17626.
